Baseball=N/A, and there lies the problem. Smaller media market teams such as the Marlins and Padres suffer b/c of this(although they do magically manage to win sometimes). They end up losing their stars (ex. Josh Beckett, Miguel Cabrera, Jake Peavey, and possibly Heath Bell and Adrian Gonzalez) Those smaller market team can't compete with those of Boston and New York. Prince Fielder of the Brewers will in no way be a Brewer next year b/c of this. There will never be a cap in baseball and this problem will always be ongoing.
Hockey=Respectable. Works.
ReplyDeleteFootball=Respectable. Works.
Basketball=A little odd, but it works.
*Note* All are nescessary.
