Wouldn't it make more sense to put the most mainstream programming on the standard cable channel where it has the largest demographic to appease? I do agree with the possible need for a 'ESPN Purist' channel or something of the sort. But it would make the most sense to set this as a premium channel to pay for. Because only the people who are hardcore enough to pay for that channel would be hardcore enough to want to watch it.
I do think that's a good idea, and would surely be interested in watching it. But you have to at least understand that we are unfortunately a very small minority in the sporting fanbase.
